Motorcyclist suffers minor injuries, transported to hospital, after his motorcycle and a car collide on South 4800 West in Salt Lake City.

One person was taken to the hospital Thursday morning after an accident between a car and a motorcycle.

Officials say the Unified Police Department responded to 6200 South 4800 W. around 6:30 a.m.

Details remain unclear but officials say the person on the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
