One male passenger killed, one other person injured, transported to hospital, after a vehicle crashes into a tree on Old Dominion Road in McLean.

A vehicle crashed into a tree along Old Dominion Road in McLean, Va., killing one passenger and injuring at least one other.

The accident occurred at approximately 3 a.m. Friday morning. The deceased victim was an adult male. Police did not release further information on any of the other passengers, nor did they say how many passengers there were.

Old Dominion Road remains closed in both directions between Tolston Road and Peacock Station. A police spokesman said that stretch would stay closed for several more hours.
