A Vancouver motorcycle rider was critically injured Saturday evening in a crash on state Highway 14 in east Vancouver, according to the Washington State Patrol. Jefrey M. Hargrave, 36, of Vancouver was driving a 2008 Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle west on the highway at a high rate of speed just before 9 p.m. Saturday when he crashed into the rear of an eastbound 2003 PT Cruiser where the highway passes under Interstate 205, according to WSP.
A 28-year-old Grayling man is dead after his car went off the road Saturday morning. Around 2:30 a.m., Muskegon Township officers were called out to South Mill Iron Road just south of Apple Ave. They found a single vehicle that went off the road and crashed. The passenger of the vehicle was out of the vehicle and spoke to emergency responders. The driver of the vehicle, a 28-year-old Grayling man, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
