A 28-year-old Grayling man is dead after his car went off the road Saturday morning.

A 28-year-old Grayling man is dead after his car went off the road Saturday morning. Around 2:30 a.m., Muskegon Township officers were called out to South Mill Iron Road just south of Apple Ave. They found a single vehicle that went off the road and crashed. The passenger of the vehicle was out of the vehicle and spoke to emergency responders. The driver of the vehicle, a 28-year-old Grayling man, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities believe the vehicle was going south on Mill Iron Road when it left the road and struck several trees. Alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.
