One man seriously injured, transported to hospital, after a motorcycle accident on the Sand Island Access Road, in the Salt Lake neighborhood of Honolulu.

A motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital after a single-motorcycle accident in Salt Lake.

The incident was reported just after 4 a.m. Tuesday on Sand Island Access Road near Hoonee Place.

According to crews on the scene, a man was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Police have closed are investigating the cause of the accident.
