Chicago, ILA west suburban man was killed in a head-on crash Monday morning in Elburn, police said.
An eastbound 2002 Toyota Camry crossed the center line on Keslinger Road about 7:30 a.m. and struck a westbound 2000 Chevrolet van near Harley Road, according to the Kane County Sheriff's office.
Burton Brown, 68, of Elburn, was taken to Delnor Hospital in Geneva, where he was pronounced dead, police said. He was the driver and only person in the Camry.

Chicago, ILA Crystal Lake man was killed and another person was critically injured in a traffic crash involving three vehicles Monday evening in the northwest suburban.
A four-door Toyota was headed south on Pyott Road from Rakow Road about 5:45 p.m. when it crossed into the northbound lane and collided head-on with a four-door Honda, according to a statement from Crystal Lake police.
The force of the collision drove the Honda into a Chevy Tahoe that had been northbound on Pyott, police said.
The driver of the Honda died at the scene, authorities said.
