50-year-old woman killed, after her vehicle left the State Route 130 South roadway near North Brunswick, and crashed into a utility pole.

A 50-year-old woman died in an accident on Route 130 South just south of Quarry Lane on Friday morning after her vehicle struck a utility pole. The fatal crash occurred at about 8:20 a.m. when the vehicle struck a utility pole, causing it to fall onto the roadway, according to police. Police closed Route 130 in both directions following the accident, according to Lt. John Haas.
