Donna Evans, 60, killed and two people injured in accident on State Road 162 near Ferdinand, Indiana

Evansville, INInvestigators say a pickup with an ATV in the bed crossed the center-line striking Evans' car. Troopers say the ATV then became airborne and crashed thru the windshield of a third vehicle. That driver and the driver of the pickup were both injured and taken to hospitals in Evansville and Jasper.

Indianapolis, INWitnesses reported seeing Miller approaching in the passing lane and swerving into the median at the last minute. A third vehicle hit the axle of Miller’s car after the initial impact of the first two cars, police said. As a result of the impact, Miller was thrown from the vehicle and the SUV flipped, coming to rest on its top side. Miller was killed as a result of injuries sustained in the accident. Wright-Marksberry climbed out of the back window of her car and was later airlifted to St. Vincent Hospital via Stat Flight helicopter due to lower leg and possible head injuries.
