Monday, July 21, 2014Two people are dead following a major crash at the Hellam Exit of Route 30 in York County.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. Tuesday. It involved multiple vehicles on the westbound ramp of Route 30 at Frysville Road.
Authorities tell News 8 that for an unknown reason, a construction van veered into the right westbound lane and rear-ended a pickup truck.
Both vehicles lost control and the construction van, carrying the driver and three passengers, flipped several times and came to a halt on the shoulder along Route 30.

Saturday, July 19, 2014A York County motorcyclist has been identified as the victim of Sunday morning's fatal crash on Route 30 in Lancaster County's West Hempfield Township.
The Lancaster County coroner said Stephen Elicker, 29, of Spring Grove, died at the scene of the 2:13 a.m. accident, according to published reports. Another 26-year-old motorcyclist from Seven Valleys was severely injured in the crash, police said.
