Makayla Muir, 18, of Kimberly, drove Toyota off the right shoulder of exit 216 of Interstate 84 near Burley, ID.  Muir overcorrected and rolled the vehicle.  Muir and the front seat passenger Eduardo Encinas, 16, of Jerome, used their seat belts and were not hospitalized.  The four backseat passengers were not wearing seatbelts and were taken to Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley.

Ream was rushed to the Cascade Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. The two year-old boy was taken by helicopter to Saint Alphonsus in Boise with serious injuries. Deputies say the toddler was wearing a helmet, which probably saved his life. Neither Ream nor the other passenger, Tyson Cornell, was wearing a seatbelt when the crash happened. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.

A 5-year-old girl died and four other people were injured in a head-on crash Saturday evening. The two-car wreck happened a little after 5 p.m. on U.S. Highway 20 near Gotsch Road, about 5 miles west of Notus. According to investigators none of the occupants in Monreal's car were wearing seatbelts.
