It was not clear who was driving or what caused the crash, but a witness said the car was racing with another car down the Bronx River Parkway. "They was racing, going at least 90, 95 mph," the witness said. "I was walking down the street and I heard the cars blow by me and then I heard the car go, 'Boom!' Then it just caught fire."

One man has been killed in an accident that happened shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday. A car plowed through a guardrail at Humboldt Parkway and Woodlawn Ave. and plunged onto State Route 33 below. The vehicle then burst into flames. Buffalo Police stated that two cars were racing down Main Street before one car went the wrong way on Woodlawn Ave. and eventually crashed through the guardrail at Humboldt. Emergency responders tried to rescue the driver but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The other vehicle also crashed and that driver is being questioned by police.
