After a bar fight, two people got into a car and left at a high rate of speed. An off duty deputy soon spotted the vehicle on SR 6, and recorded it traveling at 120 mph. Two deputies pursued the vehicle but lost sight of it as it neared Helper. Deputies later found that the car had collided with a house, setting both on fire. By the time the crash was discovered there was nothing officers or firefighters could do to save the car's occupants or the house. No one was in the house at the time, and no other people were injured.
