At about 11:00am, a car containing four people was westbound on I-94 when the driver lost control, causing the car to roll. The vehicle rotated several times and eject one passenger, a 94-year-old man, before eventually coming to rest in a ditch. The elderly man who was ejected was declared dead at the scene of the crash, and the three other people in the vehicle were brought to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Raven was a passenger in a car driven by Herlein, which was northbound on U.S. 131 at about 2:00am. At that time Herlein failed to avoid a semi-truck that was stopped on the roadside because it was disabled, and collided with the truck's rear-end. The collision caused the vehicle to roll, which in turn caused Raven to be thrown from it, leaving her dead at the scene. Herlein sustained injuries described as life-threatening, and is currently in the hospital.

Ian Madeleine of Algonac was pronounced dead at McLaren Macomb Hospital following a 7:10 a.m. crash on I-94 near 21 Mile in Chesterfield Township. According to witnesses, Madeleine was driving erratically in his 2008 Hummer H3 before he hit the shoulder and guardrail, causing the vehicle to flip, and he was thrown through the sunroof. The accident remains under investigation.

Terrill was riding his Ski-Doo snowmobile near Fifth street at about 8:40pm when he ran into a drainage ditch and was thrown from the vehicle. He was hospitalized with a knee laceration and complaints of chest pain.

A man was snowmobiling in Baroda Township, Berrien County on Sunday evening when a pickup truck struck him. The accident occurred while a winter storm warning was in effect, just after 6 p.m. A 2003 Chevy truck was driving south on Cleveland and turning left into a private driveway when it collided with a snowmobile operated by Aaron Olmstead. Olmstead was traveling north along Cleveland. Martin said Olmstead was ejected from the snowmobile and pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup driver, Jonah Stoll, 18, was not issued a traffic citation. Neither Stoll nor his passenger were injured.
