Police say a 37-year-old woman from Onsted, Michigan died Saturday in a two-vehicle, head-on crash at Michigan Avenue and Textile Road which occurred when a car driving westbound on Michigan Avenue crossed the center line and crashed with another car. The victim was a passenger in the westbound car and was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Both drivers and another passenger were transported to nearby hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

Jeep carrying four people was traveling north on County Road 300 W near Poneto when for unknown reasons, it went through a two-way stop at the intersection of State Road 218 and struck a car. The Jeep driver, 40-year-old Julie Dehoff of Portland, as well as her front seat passenger, were ejected as the Jeep spun into a ditch north of the intersection.

Brandon Smith, 21, of Essex, Iowa, and Armando Gomez-Gutierrez, 41, of Las Vegas, died in the crash. Neither man was wearing a seatbelt. The driver, Zackary McKinzie, 22, of Colville, Washington, who also was ejected from the GMC pickup, and was transported to Trinity Hospital in Minot. His current condition is not known at this time. The pickup was traveling southbound on Williams County Road 5 when it left the roadway and entered the west ditch. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle entered the east ditch and overturned. McKinzie was also not wearing a seatbelt, the report said.
