Mark Jolly, 65, of Las Vegas was eastbound in a 2010 Volkswagen Beetle on Desert Inn Road west of Schirll Avenue, near the intersection of Arville Street, when he struck the female pedestrian outside of a marked crosswalk at about 3:30 a.m. The woman was brought to University Medical Center Trauma with life-threatening injuries. We'll update this post with any new information we receive.
