Duluth, MN-Superior, WIMichael Vieau, 31, is suffering serious injuries after a car collision on Highway 7 on Friday evening. Gerald Koepke, 82, pulled onto the highway with the intention to turn north when he crashed into Vieau. Vieau has been taken to the hospital. Authorities are reporting that alcohol is allegedly the cause of the incident.

Duluth, MN-Superior, WINordeen was driving a pickup truck north on Highway 7 at about 5:50pm when he crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head on with a southbound car containing two people, before a third vehicle finally struck the rear of Nordeen's pickup truck. The two people in the southbound car, identified as Madeline Stringer, 15, and Mary Stringer, 49, sustained serious injuries, and Madeline was airlifted to the hospital while Mary was taken by ambulance. Nordeen was also brought to the hospital but was later pronounced dead.
