One person was killed in a 3-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of Boulder Highway and Russell Road. One person was transported to St. Rose De Lima hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. the crash occurred when a 2013 Acura was stopped in a turn lane on Boulder Highway and a F-150 struck the Acura and then hit a Ford Flex. The driver of the F-150, a 63-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Two people sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Oscar Camara-Castillo was crossing at the intersection of Boulder Highway and Russell Road around 1:51 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle. He was rushed to Sunrise Hospital with critical injuries. He was walking outside of a marked crosswalk, and police do not suspect alcohol as a factor. More info will be posted as it becomes available.
