At approximately 12:30 PM Thursday, EMS and police crews responded to an accident at the 1700 block of South Capital of Texas Highway. Authorities reported two vehicles were involved in the crash and one person was pinned inside the vehicle. According to investigators, a pickup was drving south on the highway in the left lane. Meanwhile, a car was heading eat on Parkstone heights drive and ran the stop sign at the intersection with Capital of Texas Highway. The truck hit the car as it crossed the southbound lane.
