Portland, ORTwo people were killed in a head-on collision near Woodburn, Oregon, on French Prairie Road NE near Le Brun Road just before 7 a.m. Thursday. The drivers have been identified as 45-year-old Leora Casey of Sherwood and 19-year-old Kyle Sanders of Gresham. Investigators said Casey attempted to pass another vehicle in a passing zone as she headed southbound, but she was not able to get back into her lane in time and she crashed head-on into Sanders' northbound car. Casey's car caught fire following the collision. Witnesses tried to put out the fire but were unable to.
