Tazina Y. Kori died at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, where she was taken for treatment after the 5:09 p.m. crash. She was traveling northbound on A Street, crossing the highway to a westbound lane and crashed into a 2001 Ford Ranger.
Katrina Cansler was driving east on Highway 12 when she lost control of her vehicle and drove off the road. The car was totaled. Cansler was taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Troopers say that drugs and alcohol were not involved in the crash.

Tapio was driving a truck west on Highway 12 near the town of Gleed at about 5:15am when he for some reason lost control and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to flip onto the shoulder of the roadway. At about 9:00 am, Dempewolf was traveling east on Highway 12 when he veered off the right shoulder, overcorrected, and veered off the left shoulder before finally striking a rock. Dempewolf was hurt and taken to the hospital, though further details on his condition weren't available. The crash was likely simply caused by inattentive driving according to authorities, and Dempewolf will probably not be cited.
Just before 6:00pm, Izguerra-Leal's Explorer was stopped on Highway 12 when another Explorer driven by Erika F. Pinon, 31, that was traveling in the same direction rear-ended her. Izguerra-Leal was injured in the accident, but has already been treated and released, and Pinon was not injured but was cited for following too closely.
