A Pueblo West man was killed in a crash in Fremont County on Thursday. The crash happened on Hwy 50, about seven miles east of Cañon City, around 11 a.m. The Colorado State Patrol says 78-year-old Walter Giffin overcorrected his car, causing it to rollover. Giffin was killed. The crash is still under investigation, but troopers don't believe alcohol or speed were factors in the crash.

Three people were hurt in a head-on crash on Highway 50 near the Pueblo airport around 8:30 Monday (6/2/14) night. Pueblo Police said Alyssa Shelton, 34, was driving west in the eastbound lanes of Highway 50, west of the Pueblo Municipal Airport interchange. Police said she was also driving without headlights. Shelton's car hit a truck head-on that was heading east, police said. Witnesses told police that Shelton hit two other vehicles before that accident as well. Shelton and the driver of the truck are in critical condition, police said. A passenger in the truck was treated and released.

A car crash Saturday morning kills one teenager, who is believed to have been drinking and not wearing a seatbelt.

It happened just after 6:00 a.m. on Highway 50 near East Enterprise Drive in Pueblo West.

19-year-old John Sebastian Ceplo, of Pueblo West was heading west on Highway 50 when his GMC started drifting off the road.

According to Colorado State Patrol Ceplo over-corrected, causing his SUV to roll multiple times off the opposide side of the road before colliding with a fence.

Ceplo was partially ejected from his vehicle.
