44-year-old Jennifer Reed, who has now been charged with DUI and assualt among others, was driving the wrong way in the northbound lanes of I-265 when she collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Vijay Patel. Her vehicle then continued to strike another car, driven by John Abbott. Patel sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and was transported the hospital via helicopter, while Reed sustained more minor injuries to her head and face, and Abbot was uninjured.
