Authorities say a 44-year-old man has killed in a weekend snowmobile accident in northern Ohio. Gary Jenkins of Norwalk was killed late Saturday when the snowmobile he was riding struck a culvert and threw him south of Sandusky. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the 1997 Ski-Doo snowmobile struck a tree after hitting the culvert. The Huron County coroner pronounced Jenkins -- who was wearing a helmet -- dead at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.

The Weber County Sheriff's Office is reporting that an adult male was killed Sunday afternoon in a snowmobile accident. Authorities say the snowmobile rider died near the Monte Cristo area of Weber County. Details surrounding the man's death are not yet known at this time.

A snowmobiler has died in a crash in Lake County. Sheriff's officials say the crash happened Tuesday afternoon near Finland. The 32-year-old victim is a local man who died at Lake View Memorial Hospital. He has not been identified.
