25-year-old Carolann Devlin, of Williamstown, died following a car crash in Hamilton Township, New Jersey Thursday. Devlin was driving west on Route 322 when her Toyota Camry went off the road and collided with a tree near milemarker 42 around 1:14 p.m. on October 16, 2014. Devlin had to be removed from her car by the Hamilton Rescue Squad. She was flown to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, where she died. It is unclear whether or not she wore a seatbelt and what caused the accident.

The accident happened on Route 322 near Rosie's Farm Market on Friday afternoon. The car was on fire, and rescuers reported extricating Pittman from the vehicle just before 2:40 p.m. Police suspected downed wires as a result of the vehicle striking a utility pole as the source of the fire. Once Pittman was freed from the vehicle he was airlifted to Cooper Univeristy Hospital.

A man fleeing a DWI site visitors stop crashed his vehicle in an attempt to escape arrest, according to police officers. After a brief pursuit via residential neighborhoods south of Rowan University's campus, Bruce R. Berry crashed his vehicle into the sign on Route 322 soon after failing to negotiate a turn off of Lehigh Road. Berry was then into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated, eluding, operating though suspended for DWI, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
