Rescue personel responded to the crash that occurred around 2 p.m. Friday. Initial reports included entrapment with fire. Advanced life support units were called in as well as helicopter Medevac, with a landing zone established just up the road to the west in a field at the intersection of Route 322 and Tomlin Station Road.

Robert Pittman, 20, of Chichester, Pa., was identified by police as the victim in the crash that occurred around 2 p.m. Friday.
The accident happened on Route 322 near Rosie's Farm Market on Friday afternoon. The car was on fire, and rescuers reported extricating Pittman from the vehicle just before 2:40 p.m. Police suspected downed wires as a result of the vehicle striking a utility pole as the source of the fire. Once Pittman was freed from the vehicle he was airlifted to Cooper Univeristy Hospital.
