Cleveland-Akron, OHSherri A. Ude, 42 years-old, was traveling on State Route 193 south of U.S. Route 6 early Saturday. Ude's vehicle collided with a deer, causing her to drive off of the right side of the road, striking a drainage culvert and finally crashing into a tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene. She was wearing her seat belt and alcohol does not appear to be a factor.

Green Bay-Appleton, WIA passenger on a motorcycle has died and the motorcycle driver suffered injuries that aren't life threatening when the bike crashed into the deer on a county highway in Poygan Sunday afternoon. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Neither person was wearing a helmet.

Wednesday, August 6, 2014One person was killed in a crash on Route 34 in Saline County on Wednesday morning. It happened 1/4 mile south of Womble Road shortly before 6 a.m.
According to Illinois State Police, 61-year-old Cheryl R. Shaffer of Rosiclare died in the collision.
Police say a tractor trailer saw animals to the side of the road and shifted lanes. Shaffer's car moved to avoid the crash but the tractor trailer moved into the same lane, as well. Both vehicles collided. Shaffer was pronounced at the scene.

Lansing, MIHOLT - One teenager has died and two were injured after a car accident in Holt last night, according to the Ingham County Sheriff's Office. The passenger riding in the backseat, 17-year-old Christopher Miranda-Oliva of Dimondale, was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene. Two 18-year-old males survived. Driver Dallas Leal, a Lansing resident, is in serious condition at a local hospital.

Chicago, ILA 16-year-old boy was critically injured in a Saturday night crash while riding with a driver arrested for DUI, police said.
Will County Sheriff's police said the crash happened around 9:45 p.m. in the 400 block of Oak Street. According to police reports, a northbound 2005 Chevrolet Silverado crossed into the southbound lane, went into a skid, struck two trees on the passenger side and smashed into a mailbox and boulder on the side of the road.
Deputies reportedly found the rear tire on the other side of the street and bottles of beer behind the passenger seat.

Friday, April 11, 2014The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a 25-year-old woman from Greer died after the car she was in overturned on Interstate 26 Saturday around 10:15 p.m.
Troopers said a 2000 Oldsmobile was heading east near mile marker 6 when the driver tried to avoid a deer, ran off the right side of the road and the car overturned. The driver and several passengers were injured and taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where one passenger was pronounced dead at 11:30 p.m.
SCHP said the woman was thrown from the car.
The Spartanburg County coroner said the victim was not wearing a seat belt.

Chicago, ILA school bus swerving to avoid hitting a pair of deer has skidded off a road in rural LaSalle County and tipped onto its side, injuring the driver and two children.
Sandwich School District 430 Superintendent said the bus was taking children to Lighted Way, a school for students with special needs in LaSalle.
He says the driver swerved to avoid hitting two deer on U.S. Route 52 around 8 a.m. Friday.
The bus skidded on loose gravel and toppled onto its side in a ditch.

Pittsburgh, PAA 21-year-old West Virginia man was killed in an all-terrain vehicle crash in Greene County on Friday night, police said.
The man was traveling north on Blockhouse Run Road in Gilmore Township when he struck a dog and lost control, flipping the ATV, police said.
The man was thrown onto the road.
The identity of the man has not been released.

Salt Lake City, UTMore than 150 sheep died when the truck that was carrying them crashed early Friday in Provo Canyon.
The semitrailer truck was carrying about 340 sheep on State Road 189 just before 3 a.m. when the truck overturned in the shoulder, said Utah Highway Patrol trooper Evan Kirby. About half the sheep died, Kirby said.
The driver was believed to have suffered no serious injuries, Kirby said.

Las Vegas, NVState Route 160, otherwise known as Blue Diamond Road, is closed in both directions because of a head-on crash Tuesday afternoon, Nevada Highway Patrol said.
According to NHP, the crash happened around 5:30 p.m. at the junction of State Route 159. Troopers say animals in the roadway caused one of the drivers to swerve hitting another car head on.
One of the drivers was hurt and taken by Mercy Air to the hospital. However, injuries do not appear life threatening, troopers said.
