A Harrah man died Monday night at the scene of a one-vehicle crash about 10 miles east of Chinook Pass on State Route 410. Troopers said the Ford F-250 went off the road to the right and rolled. The pickup came to rest on its wheels. What money damages are recoverable in a death claim?

Richard D. Rosales, 24, of Naches was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. His passenger Riley Hibbs was taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released. Troopers said Rosales was driving eastbound about 3:30 p.m. when he missed a curve and crossed Old River Road in a Toyota Tacoma. The pickup rolled and struck a house. The crash was blamed on excessive speed; intoxicants were not involved.

A Crystal Mountain employee, who was one of three people rescued in a rollover, crash has died. Rescue crews, choppers and medics responded at Crystal Mountain Resort Thursday after three employees were hurt, and spent a cold night on the mountain after the crash. The three Crystal Mountain employees in their 20s, two men and a woman, were not on duty when their vehicle lost traction and crashed on a maintenance road at the ski area Wednesday night. The two men are food service employees and the woman is a gondola operator.

A driver was charged with vehicular homicide for allegedly killing 16-year-old Justin Relethford along Highway 410 in Enumclaw on Oct. 31. Police said 20-year-old Cody Money was the driver of the pickup truck. He said he told police the night of the incident that he looked down to answer his cellphone.  Police documents revealed multiple marijuana-smoking devices were found in Money’s truck. Three hours after the crash, Money’s blood was drawn and it tested positive for marijuana and oxycodone.
