Three motorcyclists were killed Sunday evening after a crash in Lincoln County at about 6:25 p.m., whe a vehicle heading north on U.S. 177 went off the road to the right. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a motorcycle driven by Steven Franetovich, 49, of Shawnee. Franetovich was ejected from the motorcycle, which then was hit by a motorcycle driven by Clayton Franetovich, 20, also of Shawnee. A third motorcyclist, Brian Bacon, 36, of Shawnee, attempted to avoid the wrecked motorcycles and slid off the road.
