A 28-year-old passenger was killed in a single-car collision on Interstate 395 in Montville early Sunday morning and the driver is facing charges after fleeing the crash site. Jamar Davis, 28, of Norwich, died in the crash. Driver Andre Roy Nichols, 25, of Norwich, lost control of the Hyundai Sonata he was driving with 5 passengers, while he was merging onto Route 2A. The car traveled across two lanes on Route 2A and hit a guardrail in the median. The car rolled over, coming to a stop on its roof.
