Tiffney L. Fields-Foley, 20, from Gassville, died in a car crash on Saturday afternoon. Fields-Foley was a passenger in a Dodge Durango traveling west on U.S. 62 in Marion County. The driver of the SUV, Krystal Gorbet of Midway, lost control on the icy road and the vehicle ended up exiting the roadway and striking a tree. Gorbet and an unidentified minor were injured and transported to a Harrison hospital. Their condition is not currently being reported.

A Nashville man was killed Thursday when his SUV collided with a guardrail and ended up in a creek in Howard County near Mineral Springs. David Elvin Parker, 41, was traveling west on Dillard Creek Road when his Suzuki SUV went through a guardrail at around 5:30 p.m. The Suzuki overturned, landing upside down in Dillard Creek. Parker was pronounced deceased at the crash site.

Billy W. Kramer Jr., 48, was killed in a commercial truck crash Wednesday evening on Interstate 49 near Greenland.  One semi truck veered off the roadway and into the median, and then overturned back onto the interstate. Another tractor-trailer slowed down to avoid the crash, and was hit from behind by another tractor-trailer driven by Kramer, of Sparta, Wisconsin. Kramer's wife and one of the truck drivers were injured and were transported to a hospital.

Brittney I’tiana Nikole Chappel, 20, of Magnolia, died Sunday afternoon when the vehicle in which she was riding overturned in Ouachita County. Brittney N. Mitchell, 19, of Camden, was driving a Ford Mustang north of U.S. 79 when she lost control, ran off the road, overturned, and struck a tree. Mitchell was transported to the Ouachita County Medical Center. Her condition is not known at the time of this report.

A Fayetteville man was killed Friday evening in a head-on crash in Washington County. Bounthavy Douangphachanh, 58, of Fayetteville, was driving on Arkansas 16 in a Chevrolet when a Ford crossed the centerline and struck him. A passenger in Douangphachanh's vehicle, Sinoune Douangphachanh, 54, of Fayetteville, was injured and taken to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. The driver of the Ford, Benn Garrett, 26, of Stilwell, Oklahoma, uninjured.

Rose Hunt, aged 41 from Tillar, Arkansas was driving  her 1996 GMC on Arkansas 1 in Desha County when she collided with a northbound Ford vehicle which crossed the centerline. The GMC overturned several times after going off the road. The driver of the Ford vehicle, Seth Young, aged 20 and a Monticello resident, also suffered injuries and was taken to McGehee-Desha County Hospital. Reports state that the roads were wet because of heavy rain during the time of the accident which was last Saturday at around 6:30 a.m.

Two men died after a collision on U.S. Highway 63 between Imboden and Black Rock Thursday afternoon. Mark Brian, 51, of Phoenix, AZ and Wesley Bishop, 40, of Myrtle, MS, were killed in the crash when Bishop was heading south when he crossed the center line and collided with an 18-wheeler driven by Brian, just after 3:30 p.m. the cause of the crash is under investigation.

Scotty Corter, 51, from Greenway, was pronounced deceased at the site of a head-on crash. Corter and the driver of the vehicle, Laura Corter, were heading south on Arkansas Highway 139 Thursday while James Roberts was driving his vehicle north. For unknown reasons Roberts crossed the center line and collided with Corter's vehicle head on. Laura Corter was transported to a Kennett hospital. Her current condition is unknown. Roberts was not injured in the crash.

One man died and another man injured in a two-vehicle collision in Independence County on Arkansas Highway 14 Monday afternoon just before 5:30. Calvin Cooper, 41, of Locust Grove, was killed in the crash. Authorities say Cooper was traveling east when a pickup truck driven by Michael Canard, of Desha, crossed the center line into the eastbound lane. The two vehicles collided in the eastbound lane.

On Tuesday at around 1:45 p.m. on U.S. Highway 62 east of Henderson, Norman Forshee's vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle, forcing it off the road, where it overturned several times. Forshee, of Henderson, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle that rear-ended Forshee's vehicle, Joe Smith of Houston, Texas was not injured in the crash.
