Crash into creek kills SUV's driver

Conditions were clear, but the road was wet at the time of the wreck, according to state police.
A Nashville man was killed Thursday when his SUV collided with a guardrail and ended up in a creek in Howard County near Mineral Springs. David Elvin Parker, 41, was traveling west on Dillard Creek Road when his Suzuki SUV went through a guardrail at around 5:30 p.m. The Suzuki overturned, landing upside down in Dillard Creek. Parker was pronounced deceased at the crash site.
