A wrong-way crash on State Road 528 has lanes closed and traffic backed up for five miles in Brevard County. The crash was reported on westbound SR 528 at mile marker 36 just after 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Florida Highway Patrol said a vehicle, driven by an elderly woman, was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes, sideswiped one car and and then turned around to travel westbound to the Narcossee Road exit. The car the woman crashed into hit another vehicle, which ignited. The driver of that vehicle suffered minor injuries.
