Indianapolis, INPolice at the scene said a red Honda car collided with a Chevy SUV at the intersection of West 22nd Street and North Tibbs Avenue. The driver of the SUV fled the scene of the accident, which occurred around 1:15 a.m. Thursday. Two men inside the Honda were transported to Eskenazi Health, where one was pronounced dead. Police believe the driver of the SUV is 31-year-old Michael Dale of Indianapolis. Check back for updates on this developing story.

South Bend-Elkhart, INNorthern Indiana police have reported a car chase that left one dead and three people injured. The pursuit began in Elkhart after a reported theft at an RV factory and ended near Osceola in St. Joseph County, where the vehicle hit a tree. Those in the vehicle were taken to the local hospital. The man who was killed is believed to have died from blunt force trauma. His name has not yet been released.

Ft. Wayne, INPolice said a drunk driver who crashed into another car and then drove away, resisted arrest in her driveway, slipped out of her handcuffs inside a squad car and then began screaming and kicking several officers.
According to the affidavit for probable cause, on February 1, witnesses called 911 and said they saw Angela Kisler, 47, of Fort Wayne, hit a green Jeep near Trier and Lahmeyer Roads and then continue driving. They told police they believed Kisler was drunk.
The witnesses followed Kisler to a home in the 7800-block of Willowwood Drive, near the Arlington Park area.
