Louisville, KYAt 2:45 p.m. Tuesday in Shelbyville, Jonathan Curtis was driving a blue 2001 Ford Focus when he ran a stop sign to turn onto Shelbyville Road from Hemp Ridge Road. When an officer indicated with his lights to pull Curtis over, Curtis accelerated and continued down Shelbyville Road toward Shelbyville. At this point Curtis crossed over into oncoming traffic, t-boning a vehicle at the intersection of at Frankfort and Mount Eden Roads, totaling the Ford Focus and injuring the other driver.

Evansville, INJimmy Carden, 44, of Fordsville, is facing serious charges after a car crash in Ohio County Tuesday night. His passenger, Danny Jackson, 51, of Reynolds Station, died at the scene. The accident happened around midnight on October 21 at Old Leitchfield Road and Zion Church Road. Neither person was wearing a seatbelt. When police arrived, Carden had already left the scene. Carden is charged with leaving the scene, DUI, wanton endangerment, and murder and is being held at the Ohio County Detention Center.

Louisville, KYTatianna Brown, 43, was arrested Thursday morning in Louisville, Kentucky after driving her car into the side of a stopped train, causing three cars to derail. The incident occured just before 1:00 a.m. Thursday morning, October 16, at the intersection of Collins and Chamberlain lanes. Police who were already nearby extracted Brown from her vehicle before it dragged 200 yards into the rail yard. Brown was uninjured. She was arrested at the scene because she smelled of alcohol and her speech was slurred. Brown said she had drank, but could not remember how much.
