A single-vehicle accident in St. Charles Parish killed 20-year-old Charles Green Jr., a St. Rose man, Saturday night.  Green was ejected from a car his friend, 19-year-old Christopher Lymous, also of St. Rose, on La. 626 near mile post 1. They were driving south on La. 626 when Lymous entered the northbound lane momentarily before veering back into the southbound lane and losing control of the car which then left the road, entered a ditch, hit several trees before flipping. Green was ejected and killed instantly.

Two Assumption Parish brothers were killed Sunday morning after a car one of the brothers was driving crashed into trees off Louisiana 70 in Assumption, Louisiana. Todd Ponville, 48, of Pierre Part, and Troy Ponville, 49, of Napoleonville, who were not wearing seat belts, were pronounced dead on the scene of the accidnet by the Assumption Parish Coroner's Office. The 2008 Chevrolet Corvette was travelling at high rate of speed westbound on Louisiana 70 in Pierre Part when it took a hard right curve at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday and lost control.

The accident happened in the morning, where Damico veered off the left side of the road, collided with a pole, and was thrown from the vehicle as it overturned. Like most crashes where the passengers are ejected, Damico was not wearing a seat belt. After pronouncing him dead at the scene, investigators took a blood sample from Damico for use in a toxicology test.

Bobo was driving the Honda Accord westbound in Ascension Parish just before 8:30 a.m. when her vehicle ran off the roadway to the right for unknown reasons and struck a tree, according to authorities. Neither she nor her passenger were wearing seatbelts, and they were both killed.

Jenkins died after being transported to a local hospital. A toxicology test has been sent to a local crime lab.
