Taylor Loffler, 18, dies after head-on collision on County Road 86 in New Prague, Minnesota

Taylor Loffler was driving his truck on County Road 86 when his vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a trailer, then collided with a van head-on. Loffler died of his injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. The driver of the trailer, Joseph Bastyr, 32, was not hurt. The van's driver, Brien Stitt, 28, was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center with serious injuries.

19-year-old woman injured in single-vehicle rollover on Rice Lake Rd. and Air Park Blvd. in Duluth, Minnesota

A 19-year-old woman was driving her car on Rice Lake Rd. and Air Park Blvd. just before 8 a.m. when she lost control of her car while trying to pass another vehicle. The car rolled over in a ditch. The woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle and suffered minor injuries. Multiple tow trucks were required to remove the car from the ditch.

Leroy Miller, 70, dead after crashing vehicle into a tree on Highway 96 in White Bear Lake, Minnesota

At around midnight on Highway 96 a man was killed after his car crashed into a tree. There were no witnesses, and when officers and medical workers arrived the man was already dead. He has not yet been identified. Check back for updates.

Amber Franks, 22, struck by falling tree while riding ATV in White Township, Minnesota

Amber Franks of Alexandria was riding an ATV along a trail in White Township on Thursday afternoon when she was struck by a large falling tree. Franks was seriously injured and brought to the hospital in unknown condition. The tree was apparently blown down by high winds. 

Clarence H. Pistorius, 76, killed in ATV crash near Sisseton, South Dakota

Clarence H. Pistorius was riding a four-wheeler in eastern South Dakota at about 8 p.m. on a rural street when his tires lost traction on the shoulder of the road and rolled. The 700-pound machine pinned him underneath, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the vehicle was speeding at the time of the accident and that Pistorius was not wearing a helmet.

Michael Vieau, 31 suffering serious injuries after being hit by Gerald Koepke, 82, on Highway 7 in Duluth, Minnesota

Michael Vieau, 31, is suffering serious injuries after a car collision on Highway 7 on Friday evening. Gerald Koepke, 82, pulled onto the highway with the intention to turn north when he crashed into Vieau. Vieau has been taken to the hospital. Authorities are reporting that alcohol is allegedly the cause of the incident.  

Andrew J. Bennett, 51, died in rollover crash on Hwy. 169 in Scott County, Minnesota

Andrew J. Bennett qwas traveling southbound on Hwy. 169 when he lost control of his vehicle and it entered the median and rolled. When State Patrol arrived at the scene they found Bennett dead.

Robia Grace, 25, seriously injured after crashing into Scott Sauter, 50 when fleeing from Police on Highway 37 in Hibbing, Minnesota

Robia Grace, 25, involved in a high-speed chase in Hibbing Minnesota, was airlifted after a car crash has left her with serious injuries. There were reports called in to the Minnesota State Patrol that a woman had been driving recklessly. A state trooper attempted to stop Grace, but she fled from the authorities at speeds up to122 miles per hour.Grace then ran into a truck on the other side of the road. The driver of the pickup, Scott Sauter, 50, has no apparent injuries at this time.

Sophia Bouwens, 26, critically injured in hit-and-run collision at North Cypress Street and Sixth Street East in St. Paul, Minnesota

Nearly $44,000 has been raised for a 26-year-old woman critically injured in a hit-and-run collision in St. Paul, Minnesota. Sophia Bouwens of St. Paul is still in critical condition at Regions Hospital after Monday night’s crash, which occurred at the intersection of North Cypress Street and Sixth Street East. Police say the driver left the scene of the crash. The crash is under investigation, and anyone with information is urged to call local authorities.

Chase Dedominces, 20, and Travis Wigstrom, 19, seriously hurt after high-speed DUI snowmobile crash on Pequaywan Lake near Duluth, MN

Dedominces was driving a snowmobile on Lake Pequaywan shortly after 9:30pm when he crashed into an island, ejecting both him and his passenger Wigstrom. Authorities have said the Dedominces was under the influence of alcohol and traveling at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred, which left him in critical condition and Wigstrom in stable condition, though both are expected to survive.
