Saturday, October 18, 2014Donald Jones injured in truck accident, after being ejected from the bed of the truck when it went off the side of the road and hit a ditch on SR-788 in Jackson County, OH. Jones was helped back into the wrecked truck by two other passengers. They left the scene but were all eventually found in Jackson when the vehicle became disabled. Jones was transported to Grant Medical Center via helicopter.

Columbus, OHThe Marion post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that killed one person Friday afternoon.
According to the highway patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m. Friday along state Route 309 near state Route 746 in Marion County.
Investigators say that 68-year-old Gayle Callahan, 68, of Crestline was traveling west on S.R. 309 when she drove left of center, striking a tractor-trailer head-on.
Callahan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not injured.

Columbus, OHColumbus police are investigating a crash that involved a salt truck where four people, three of them children, were injured Saturday evening.
Officers responded to the crash on Skywae Drive and Schrock Road Saturday at about 5:30 p.m. A salt truck was reportedly involved in the crash.
A four-year-old, a six-year-old and a seven-year-old child were all transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital and one person was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital. All are listed as stable.
