Pittsburgh, PARobert Sweet Jr. was driving on Cochran’s Mills Road in Burrell Township, Armstrong County when his 1998 Ford Expedition hit a tree stump, and the vehicle to rolled twice. Sweet was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor.

Pittsburgh, PAChad Adamsky, 27, of Vintondale died shortly after midnight in the accident on Shortcut Road in Buffington. His passenger, Brittany Harrington, 19, was injured and taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, police said. She was treated and released. Alcohol is suspected as a factor, and an autopsy is planned.
