A Burrell Township man was killed in an early Thursday morning rollover crash in Armstrong County.
Crash leaves Burrell Township family without father, friend
Sweet will be remembered as a generous friend and family man who liked taking his daughter, Millee, 2, and her 5-year-old sister, McKenzie, to train shows and other events, Smelter said.
Robert Sweet Jr. was driving on Cochran’s Mills Road in Burrell Township, Armstrong County when his 1998 Ford Expedition hit a tree stump, and the vehicle to rolled twice. Sweet was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor.
