Houston, TXThe Texas DPS says a passenger bus hit the back of an 18-wheeler, which caused the rig to strike a car on Interstate 10. Photos of the scene show that a second semi appears to have been involved. The bus driver may not have noticed that traffic was slowing for construction. The deceased were identified as bus driver Miguel Angel Tobalina-Gonzalez, 31, and bus passenger Roman Juan Domicilio, 34.

Waco-Temple-Bryan, TXOne person is dead and at least three others are injured after a bridge collapsed along Interstate 35 near mile marker 286 in Salado. An oversized tractor trailer hit a beam of the FM 2484 overpass bridge that was under construction on I-35 causing several beams to fall onto the roadway.
