A police officer in Houston, Texas was involved in a car accident with another driver while responding to a call early on Thursday. According to police, the officer was driving southbound on TC Jester without lights or sirens to a non-emergency call at approximately 12:30 AM. A second vehicle was driving northbound and attempted to make a left turn onto Creekmont, turning in front of the cruiser. The officer was unable to stop in time and struck the vehicle. Neither driver was injured, however the second vehicle's driver was ticketed for failure to yield.
