Wednesday, September 17, 2014An initial two-vehicle crash occured at the intersection of Hampton Roads Center Parkway and Magruder Boulevard. An officer responded to that crash, and a nearby Fire Utility Vehicle stopped to help. A Honda crashed into the fire vehicle, then a Jeep struck the police vehicle. The police officer, firefighter, and two civilians were transported to local hospitals for non life-threatening injuries. Regina Shortt, 82 years old and the driver of the Honda, has been charged with reckless driving.

Sunday, August 31, 2014The trooper was transported to Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car was not injured and was charged with reckless driving and defective equipment.
