Thurston County Bar Association Volunteer Legal Clinic
The Thurston County Volunteer Legal Services provides legal advice and information to low income people in a manner sensitive to individuals and their legal needs. Through the efforts of trained volunteers, TCVLS strives to enable clients to resolve their legal problems. TCVLS provides leadership in promoting access to justice in the local community.
Thurston County Public Works Department
The Thurston County Public Works Department is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance, and improvement of more than 1,100 miles of county roadway, and adjacent right of way, the Waste and Recovery Center, Water and Sewer utilities and the County's Parks and Trail system.
Wahkiakum County Sheriff
The mission of the Wahkiakum County Sheriff's Office is to partner with the community to safeguard lives and property, and provide assistance to persons in urgent need.
Wahkiakum County District Court
Wahkiakum County District Court processes misdemeanor criminal and traffic charges issued by the Washington State Patrol, Wahkiakum County Sheriff's Office, Wahkiakum County Prosecutor, State Department of Fish & Wildlife, and Department of Natural Resources. It also has the jurisdiction to handle civil matters up to $75,000, as well as Anti-Harassment Orders, Small Claims and name changes.
Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Legal Aid Program
Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Legal Aid (CWLA) is located in Longview, Washington and serves low-income residents in Cowlitz and Wahkiakum Counties. They provide general legal information, free civil legal services, as legal clinics and workshops on basic family law forms. They also partner volunteer attorneys with clients in need to provide critical legal assistance, and are happy to provide referrals as well.
