Efren Virgen Jr. was walking on Fairford Avenue and Ratliffe Street in Norwal, California at about 2:30 AM Sunday when he was struck by a bus. Witnesses said that they saw flashing neon lights inside the bus and heard loud music playing. The bus is being described as a party bus. Virgen, 26, was dragged more than 200 feet. He was transported to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, where he was on life support. The black bus was last seen turning westbound on Foster Road, according to officials. Police believe that driver would have known that something was wrong while dragging Virgen.
