Kata Petrovski, 73, and her husband Sotir Petrovski, 79, were in a car traveling on East Broad Street, when at about 8:39pm their vehicle crossed into the oncoming traffic lane and struck a car driven by John Wemmer, 77, head on. The Petrovski's were both taken to Mount Caramel East, while Wemmer was transported to Ohio Health Grant Medical Center. Unfortunately, all three victims succumbed to their injuries and passed away.

Margaret Spangler, 93, of Briers Drive, died Monday after she collided with a marked police Ford Explorer in her Toyota Camry. The incident occured on October 5 around 2:00 p.m. when deputy Ronald Pierce, 50, was driving west on E. Livingston Avenue when Spangler took a left turn north onto Remington Road in front of him. The vehicles hit in the intersection. Both people were taken to Ohio Health Grant Medical Center, where Spangler died. The citation issued against Spangler for failing to yield on a left turn was removed when she died.
