Nashville, TNMadison Precinct Officer Edward Draves was in the process of making an arrest when the suspect ran away on East Old Hickory Boulevard. Draves chased the suspect but was hit and knocked to the ground by a gold-colored vehicle, the driver of which did not stop at the scene. Draves suffered minor injuries and has since been released from the hospital. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.

Nashville, TNA teenager has died and two other people were injured after a crash early Thursday in Nashville that followed a short police pursuit.
One person was killed and two others were injured after a crash involving a stolen vehicle in Nashville.
Police say a Toyota Camry that had been reported stolen and identified from several armed robberies was spotted by officers who attempted to initiate a traffic stop.
