Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed one man and critically injured another man as they helped change a tire on a metro Atlanta freeway. DeKalb County police say two women had called the men to help them change the tire when the men were struck by a pickup. It happened around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday on westbound Interstate 20, near Panola Road. Police said a pickup truck they said was not maintaining its lane struck the men and kept driving. A second car followed the truck until the driver was pulled over.
