A collision Friday afternoon involving a church van left two dead on Texas Highway 377 north of US 180 just at approximately 5:30 p.m. Friday. A 2010 Mitsubishi heading northbound on TX 377 and a 1999 Chevrolet passenger van traveling south on TX 377 crashed head-on. The driver of the Mitsubishi was pronounced deceased at the crash site. The driver of the church van died Saturday morning. The driver has been identified as 40-year-old Stacey Daily.  Every occupant in the van was injured and transported to several hospitals. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.

Shortly before noon on Wednesday, a woman was killed in a wrong-way crash on the 1600 block of South Josey Lane at Belt Line Road in front of R. L. Turner High School in Carrollton, Texas. Deborah Lynn Winters, 61, of Dallas was driving north in the southbound lanes of Josey when she struck another motorist head-on. The other motorist swerved but was unable to avoid the collision. Winters was transported to Parkland Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

One person is dead, and three are seriously injured following a head-on collision on Farm to Market Road 455 Monday afternoon. The accident occured around 4:00 p.m. near Sanger High School when a person driving west in a Hyundai Accent crossed into eastbound traffic and collided with a Mitsubishi Endeavor. The driver of the Hyundai died at the scene, and the two passengers in that vehicle, two young children, sustained injuries. One child was taken to Denton Regional Medical Center, and the other was flown to Cook Children's Medical Center.

Two drivers were killed in a head-on crash in Kaufman County Saturday afternoon. The Texas Department of Public Safety said a Ford Focus driven by 21-year-old Ashtyn Clark of Crowley was headed north on State Highway 34 near the Hunt County line around 4:30 p.m. when her vehicle crossed the center line of the two-lane road and struck a Ford Explorer. Both vehicles erupted in flames. Clark died along with the driver of the Explorer. Troopers said that person is from Quinlan, but the identity was being withheld while relatives are notified.

Denton Police on Monday released the names of the people involved in a head-on crash that left one person dead and two others critically hurt. The deceased was identified as 27-year-old Tessa Butler from Aubrey. She was killed when the Mazda in which she was a passenger was struck by a pickup truck driven by 21-year-old Hector Soto from Garland. The driver of the Mazda, Roger Bryant, age 49, from Denton remains hospitalized at Medical Center of Plano.

A man from North Richland Hills is dead after his car collided with a tractor-trailer around 4:04 a.m. on the on-ramp to the eastbound lanes of I-635E from Highway 114. Police say the man was traveling the wrong way when his Honda collided head-on with the semi. The driver has been identified as 22-year-old Jorge Rico. Rico’s time of death is listed on the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s website as 4:15 a.m., with a cause of death being multiple blunt force injuries. Rico was the only person injured in the crash, which shut down the I-635E on-ramp for two hours.

Police said one person has died in a head-on crash following a wrong-way driver's trip down U.S. 75. Richardson police were following a wrong-way driver in a silver Nissan Murano who was headed southbound in the northbound lanes of U.S. 75/Central Expressway around 4 a.m. Monday. Police say the Murano driver clipped a vehicle traveling northbound in the 9000 block of North Central Expressway and kept going. No one was injured. A short time later, just north of Hall Street in Dallas, the driver of the Murano crashed head-on into a tan Toyota Camry.
