Sunday, May 31, 2015Just before 11 p.m. Sunday in the northbound lanes of State Road 429 near State Road 414, a Ford Expedition carrying three teens left the roadway and rolled several times, ejecting 16-year-old Jasmine Tena. She was the struck by a vehicle that left the scene. The driver of the Expedition, Teodora Llanas, Jr., 19, and another passenger, Demetrio Rangel, 19, both of Apopka, were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center. Both are expected to survive.

Sunday, October 26, 2014Rudolph Muller, 44, of Malabar, died Sunday night after being hit by a car while walking along Weber Road in Malabar, Florida. The accident occured around 9:40 p.m. on October 26, 2014 when a 19-year-old driver in a 2006 VW Beetle driving struck Muller, who was walking south near Hall Road. The driver was not injured. Muller died at the scene.

Saturday, October 11, 2014A 69-year-old Kissimmee man died after being struck by an SUV while attempting to cross U.S. 192 in a wheelchair. The fatal crash happened around 8:20 p.m. Saturday at U.S. 192 and Oren Brown Road in Osceola County. Troopers said 73-year-old Ralph Ratledge, of Maryville, Tennessee, was traveling eastbound on U.S. 192 in his 2007 Lincoln SUV in the center-through lane. The 69-year-old man, who was not identified by FHP, was trying to cross U.S. 192 in a wheelchair. Troopers said he was not at an intersection or in a crosswalk.

Wednesday, October 8, 2014A 17-year-old St. Cloud High School student was injured after being hit by a car on his bicycle in St. Cloud, Florida. The incident occured around 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning while crossing 13th Street. The student was conscious after the accident, but suffered from lacerations. He was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center as a precaution. Police say he crossed the intersection without the help of a school crossing guard and was not wearing a helmet. The condition of the student is unknown at this time.
