A 54-year-old woman from Bloomfield Hills is dead and her 55-year-old husband is in critical condition after a crash that shut down I-75 near Pierson Road for several hours on November 30th. The couple was headed south on I-75 in a Ford Focus when they slowed down for traffic and were rear-ended by another vehicle. A 25-year-old Montrose man was arrested and brought to Genessee County Jail after the crash. Alcohol may have been a factor. No names have been released.

At about 8:30pm, Karrie Lyn Morgan entered I-80 going the wrong way and collided head-on with a car on the bridge, before running into to two other cars. Morgan and two other victims were hospitalized with minor injuries, but one victim sustained major injuries. Morgan will be arrested on suspicion of DUI and being an unlicensed driver.

Passengers Chasity Gardee, 29 and Antonio Ladesma, 14, injured in 5-car pileup on I-82 just east of Ellensburg, Washington.   The accident was caused when Jose A. Reyes Izaguirre, 30 of Tacoma, WA was stopped in the road after hitting the guardrail. Reyes was cited for driving with a suspended license. Other parties involved, Megan Weimer-Wallace, 35, of Richland, Karen Larrea, 64, of Yakima, Jennifer E. Graham, 41 of Yakima, Randi Bonari, 60 of Auburn, and Frederick W. Cox, 45, of Ravensdale were uninjured.
